Kaelin's 1st Gymnastics Class

Wow! She sure had fun. She was too excited to sit and do her stretches at the beginning of her class, too many new things to learn. Her class had about 4 other girls in it who were all older than her. The class if for 3-6 year olds, so it will be an adjustment learning how to sit well, and patiently wait our turn. She got to swing on the bar, which she loved, but she seemed to really love the beam. Her teacher, Ms. Janelle, was in gymnastics with me when I was in high school. It was a lot of fun, and Kaelin is ready to go back.

So, this picture was taken summer '08. I recently came across it, and just had to post it here. Sydner(kaelin's cousin) and Kaelin, were rockin it out and singin to Hannah Montana. They were using the fireplace ledge as their stage. How cute are they? Future rock stars maybe?

Kaelin Goes to the Emergency Room!

December 30, 2008

So, Kaelin ended up in the emergency room! While we were walking, she tripped and fell. I was holding her hand so that caused the joint in her elbow to pop out of place!! They called it nurse-maid's elbow. She screamed for so long, and wouldn't let us even look at it, let alone touch it. Her pediatrician said to take her to the ER. She looked so hurt and sad-and wouldnt move around at all- very unlikely for her! The doc took her arm , twisted it and it popped right back into place, and as soon as the doc put the joint back into place she was moving it around like crazy, smiling, talking, no more ow-ies. We were amazed how fast she felt better. What an experience.
